Just a couple of weeks ago there was actually talk of giving 5-7 teams an exemption because of the possibility that there MIGHT not be enough bowl eligible teams to fill all THIRTY FIVE of the Bowl games. The fact that there ARE 35 bowl games is ridiculous AFAIAC - but oh well - there are.
Now, after this weekend's games there are AT LEAST 70 teams who are bowl eligible, i.e., enough to fill all 35 bowl games (Yippee
