I spoke briefly with 2019 four-star Murrieta (Calif.) Valley dual-threat quarterback Hank Bachmeier yesterday (Monday). Bachmeier met with Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin before he had to leave for media days in Las Vegas. After his meeting Bachmeier said in his opinion Harsin is one of the best coaches in the nation based on the success he's had already in Boise. He really likes the offense Harsin runs and said BSU is in his top three coming off the meeting.
Bachmeier has family in Boise, but said his family supports his decision to attend any school so that won't have any bearing when it comes time to make his decision. On Wednesday the four-star QB will continue the second part of his visit to Boise, getting the full campus tour and everything else having done his meeting with Harsin.
Following his Boise State trip Bachmeier will camp at Stanford on Friday before getting ready for his junior year.
