Idaho – Installation has begun on a new video board and other digital displays in Taco Bell Arena, a project that Boise State Athletics once again partnered with family-owned and operated Agri Beef Co., headquartered in Boise.

Agri Beef Co. and its Double R Ranch beef brand previously stepped up to support Boise State Athletics by purchasing naming rights to the Double R Ranch Club Room in the Stueckle Sky Center, as well as primary naming rights of the video board in Albertsons Stadium in 2013.

“This is something we could not have completed without the support of Agri Beef Co. and Double R Ranch,” Boise State Executive Director of Athletics Curt Apsey said. “We are sincerely grateful to have corporate partners that continuously step up to the plate in order to enhance what we are able to offer to our student-athletes and fans.”

The video board measures 14.3 feet by 8.1 feet, more than double the size of the previous board, and the goal is to have it on display for the first home game of the 2015-16 season.

“It’s very exciting to have been a contributor to the growth of Boise State Athletics over the last few years, and we are very pleased to help make the new state-of-the-art video board a reality,” said Jay Theiler, executive director of marketing for the company.

The upgraded features will also be on display when Taco Bell Arena hosts additional marquee events, such as the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds. The 2018 games will mark the ninth time Boise State has hosted the tournament, most recently in 2009.

Boise State men's basketball season ticket holders will have first priority to purchase tickets to the 2018 tournament. Season tickets holders for both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons will have priority over the general public to purchase tickets to the NCAA Tournament.

Season tickets are on sale now for the 2015-16 campaign by visiting broncosports.com/tickets or contacting the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office at 208-426-4737.
