BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics is launching Experience Blue, a Bronco Football Fan Experience Committee, director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Monday.

In an effort to further engage with Bronco Nation, and to enhance the holistic gameday experience in Albertsons Stadium, the committee will host quarterly meetings with athletics staff members in advance of the 2022 season. The committee will focus its efforts on the pregame fan experience, the in-game fan experience and concessions.

“Albertsons Stadium has proven to be one of the most difficult venues for opponents in the country, and that is a direct result of Bronco Nation and the impact it can have on a game,” Dickey said. “We want to make sure our fans have the best experience possible while cheering on the Broncos, with no regard for kick time, day of the week or opponent.

“We sought input from attendees throughout the course of this last season, and now we want to bring Bronco Nation into our planning process as we seek to take the environment surrounding our games to the next level.”

Applications for the committee will be accepted until the Broncos’ appearance in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, Dec 31. To submit an application for inclusion on the committee, CLICK HERE.

Accepted applicants for Experience Blue will be notified in January.

In order to be eligible for Experience Blue, fans must have attended at least one game during the 2021 season. Preference will be given to fans with BAA membership and/or season ticket holder status.

Bronco Athletics will announce additional elements in each of the three areas of the committee’s focus leading into the 2022 season.
