MW Championship Slated for Boise

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team will host Fresno State for the 2017 Mountain West Championship at Albertsons Stadium, the league office announced Sunday. Kickoff is slated for Saturday, Dec. 2 at 5:45 p.m.

The Broncos earned the right to host the championship game by virtue of its average ranking in four computer polls. Boise State averaged 30.25, while Fresno State averaged 34.25.

The 2017 MW Championship is a rematch of the 2014 title game, also held in Boise. The Broncos defeated the Bulldogs 28-14 (Dec. 6, 2014), picking up their second conference championship as a member of the league.

Season ticket holders can log into their ticket account to purchase their same seats and print them at home. These seats will be held until Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Tickets are also on sale now to the general public, and can be purchased online at BroncoSports.com/tickets. The ticket office will be open during regular business hours this week, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday. The Athletic Ticket Office, located on the west side of Albertsons Stadium, can also be reached by phone at (208) 426-4737 during regular business hours.

The Albertsons Stadium ticket office will be open at 10 a.m., Saturday.

Tickets are $40 in the main stadium and south end zone, and $20 in the north end zone. Student tickets are free, and student guest tickets are available for $9. Student ticket reservations will begin Monday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m.
