This evening, Blue Turf reached out to Utah OL Braydin Shipp. In recent years, the Broncos have recruited some huge offensive linemen and at 6'6 300lbs, Shipp is no exception. Here's what he had to say:

"I love the family feel that Boise has, and after going to all these other colleges and seeing how the coaches interact with the players it's different at Boise, they care about you like their son or best friend! My primary recruiter is Steve Caldwell and I've been to Utah, Utah State, and BYU as well. Right now they are because they are the only school I have an offer from, Boise State is on top, but if I happened to get one from Utah, Utah would be a close second! But yeah Boise is definitely the leader and I could definitely see me playing for them!"

Does he have plans to make a commitment anytime soon?

"So my plan right now is since my mom hasn't met any of the coaches or anything just my dad go down there for a game and than show her everything and meet the coaches than go and talk with my parents to make sure it's the best fit for me than commit. If another school gets involved that may delay my decision, but even if some other school does I really like Boise"

Blue Turf Reaction: The family feel is something that comes up with many recruits BSU targets and that is a testament to the coaching staff and players. With Boise State being Shipp's sole offer, it's not a surprise they are his number one school. However, it seems like the interest is genuine and even if other schools offer, they will have quite an uphill battle. On the other side of the coin, it is unknown where Ships stands on the Broncos OL board. Best guess is he is behind Anderson and Patterson. However, if the Broncos want him, it seems like it's only a matter of time before he commits.
