BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Elli Gordon led the Boise State women’s golf team with her eighth-career top-25 finish at the Dale McNamara Invitational, Tuesday at the Cedar Ridge Country Club.

Gordon shot par in Tuesday’s final round to move four spots up the leaderboard to a tie for 16th, shooting 5-over on the week (75-74-72 – 221).

The Broncos finished 10th in the field with a 54-hole score of 912 (308-300-304, +48).

· “I am really proud of Elli’s improvement from the CSU tournament,” said head coach Kailin Downs. “She played very steady this week, and I look forward to watching her continue on this upward trajectory.”

· “We look forward to our last fall tournament and the chance to redeem ourselves after this week,” added Downs. “We did a lot of things really well and just need to clean up a few areas of our games.”

· Junior Elli Gordon lowered her score in each round of the tournament. Her 72 in the third round is her lowest score of the season, while her performance was her best to-par this season.

· Gordon’s 5-over on the tournament is her best performance to par this season, and her best since shooting 2-over at the NM State Aggie Invitational last season (Oct. 4-6, 2021).

· Gordon was tied for fifth in the field with 37 pars, while freshman Leia Chung made 35 pars.

Boise State returns to action on Oct. 23, for The Clash at Boulder Creek. The three-day tournament will be held at Boulder City, Nev., and will conclude the fall season for the Broncos.
