Chandler Hutchison

KANSAS CITY-
Boise State junior guard Chandler Hutchison was named first-team All-District 17 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, the organization announced Wednesday.
Hutchison led the Broncos in scoring (17.4 ppg), rebounding (7.8 rpg) and steals (1.2 spg), while ranking second in assists (2.6 apg). He is the first player in program history to record at least 500 points, 250 rebounds and 75 assists in a season. His 557 points rank No. 8 on the school’s single-season scoring list.

The NABC districts are divided by conference. District 17 encompasses the 11 Mountain West schools. The voting is done by the conference’s coaches and takes into account statistics and performances from the entire season.
With his first-team selection, Hutchison is now eligible to earn All-America honors. Those teams will be announced at a later date.
