THE LATEST: Bryson Jackson from Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge is playing well just three games into his senior year. Jackson is playing the outside linebacker position for his team on either the strong or weak side. Jackson is a converted defensive back who is now playing at the second level.

His move would cater to a growing trend of the hybrid linebacker/safety that is happening in college football. Jackson is holding onto 13 offers to play that very spot at the next level. The first official visit is set for Jackson at the end of the month and he says that there are two more that he is thinking about.
