wonder if this also applies to the academic portion of the kids life, my guess is no.

This is what happens in youth soccer not football, if your kid can't compete, than get him off the field.

I agree, stupid rule.

At the very least I would hope that every time they have to invoke that rule during a game that it is noted in the game's box core and recap.
