I went to ...

... the Lunch with Leon Tuesday at the Chicago Connection Pizza in Meridian. Had a lot of fun, saw some old friends and bronco fans.

The best thing about it was meeting the new coaches (they have personalities!) I know they didn't have much time to really upgrade the schedule this year but I think we should start seeing some improvements to the schedule as soon as 2011.

Hopefully with the new coaches and the positive buzz around the program the fans will once again return to The Bell for some fun hoops.

ESPNU to Televise Four WAC Women’s Basketball Games

DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference and ESPN announced today that the television network will broadcast four WAC women’s basketball games during the 2009-10 season on ESPNU. Boise State is included in one of the broadcast when the Broncos play at Fresno State on Jan. 27.

The network will televise three regular-season WAC women’s basketball match-ups and will also air the championship game of the WAC Tournament, held at Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev.

2009 Boys Basketball Camp

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that the Boise State men's basketball team will be conducting their last camp of the summer this next week, starting Sunday. They will be accepting walk-up registration tomorrow at the event. Information regarding the camp is below, but I've attached the link as well in case that helps as well.

Individual Camp

Aug 2nd ? 5th
Ages 8 ? 18
Overnight Camper $350.00
Day Camper $275.00

The individual camp will put your son in a basketball environment that he will never forget. All aspects of the game will be taught with a special emphasis on fundamentals and sportsmanship. Players will be divided according to age and ability for drills, games and contests.
Overnight campers will stay in the Boise State University dorms adjacent to the Arena. Meals will be served at the Table Rock Cafe in the Student Union Building with a cook out in the park. Camp will start each morning at 9:00am. Day campers will receive lunch and dinner only and they can be picked up at 9:00 pm each evening. Camp will finish on Wednesday, Aug. 5th at 4:30pm.


Please register online at www.broncosports.com beginning Feb. 7th. Deadline to sign up for camp will be July 31st. Check in will be from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Entry 1 of Taco Bell Arena, Sunday, Aug. 2nd. Camp will begin at 2:00 pm. Lunch will NOT be provided on Sunday.
