Just to get things rolling a bit, here is a preliminary list of 2018 recruits. It's broken up into 3 sections: 1) players with offers from Boise State 2) Players who have medium or higher interest in Boise State according to Rivals 3) Players from schools or areas Boise State traditionally recruits and could potentially be recruited by them this year.

For the purposes of this article, players who could appear in multiple groups will not and will instead only be listed in one group. (Example, if a player has a BSU offer and is also from a school BSU traditionally recruits, they will only appear in group 1 and not group 3).

Something to keep in mind: The first group is complied from facts (reported offers). The second group is compiled based on what a particular recruit communicated to someone at Rivals at a given time. It's subject to change, especially depending on the communication they receive from Boise State or another school. The third group is mainly speculation. Just because Boise State recruited players from a school hard last year doesn't mean they will this year. However, they do have a pattern of recruiting good players from big-time HS programs, so it's as good of a place to start as any.

Is there anymore Idaho kids to pay attention to? Yankoff and Togiai are most likely not even considering BSU and I don't know much about Ramseyer.

Also it seems BSU have offered a lot more QBs this year than they did last year at this time.

Good observations!

This year the Idaho talent definitely seems to have a huge top 2, followed by a big drop off with everyone else. Yankoff and Togiai are elite talents who are being recruited nationally. I do think Ramseyer is the name to watch for BSU. I don't know much about him at this point either but he's a 3 star who has the make up to play a few different positions. Also, a name or two might appear out of nowhere, similar to how John Ojukwu did last year.

As for the QB offers, to me this said last year the coaches felt like they were in good positions with a small group of them to be able to land one, which they did in Cord. So many offers this year tells me they may not be in that same position at this point. However, Cord didn't commit until Memorial Day so that doesn't necessarily mean they are behind. Definitely casting a big net though.
