BOISE, ID – The Boise State Broncos are teaming up against hunger with The Idaho Foodbank on Saturday, April 9 at The Idaho Foodbank warehouse in Boise. The Foodbank is hosting a special event with the Broncos to celebrate Saturday’s spring football game and help launch the Foodbank’s effort to raise enough funds to provide ONE MILLION MEALS in April.

Broncos fans are invited to come to The Idaho Foodbank warehouse and take part in a FREE event. Attendees will enjoy free food, provided by Albertsons and Agri Beef, free activities, a raffle for great prizes, tours of the work being done to solve hunger in Idaho. Fans can also meet members of the Boise State Broncos football team, the Boise State spirit squad and other athletes from Boise State.

Also, The Idaho Foodbank will be announcing and celebrating a tremendous success by Girl Scouts in the Silver Sage Council, who donated 9,800 boxes of girl scout cookies. The girl scouts also partnered with the United Dairymen of Idaho, who contributed milk for each box donated. Those donations were topped off with $25,000, raised through Albertsons’ Moo Bucks Milk Drive.
