After not much action since the first few days of February, Boise State sent out another round of offers this week. Most of these offers have gone to some big names, 4-star type of players. This can be taken 1 of 2 ways. 1) These aren't names to get too attached to as most of these guys don't seriously consider Boise State and will end up with PAC12 teams or someone else. 2) Boise State is giving themselves a chance, offering and building relationships early and could be in contention or land some of these guys by doing work now. Jermani Brown, Drake Beasley, and Bryan Thompson would be examples of this working to some degree.
Anyway, I was able to get in contact with a few of them for now to hear their thoughts on Boise State and recruiting in general. If they aren't written about, I haven't spoke with them yet.
4 star LB Jack Lamb: UCLA has produced a lot of great linebackers over the past couple of years and put a lot of guys into the NFL which is something that definitely stands out. As for Boise State it's a team that I grew up watching play on a blue field which has always been in my memory. They always produce teams that win and want to succeed and that's important.I haven't planned any visits yet but I definitely want to see as many schools as I can. I'm really going to try and take my time and make the right decision the first time around." (I talked to him before his Oregon, Utah, and Colorado State. He was kind of under the radar until yesterday)
3 star RB Kazmeir Allen: Man it's great (to be offered). They (Boise State) have a great football program and you can tell they really love there dudes they recruit. As of right now they offered me at RB. I have other offers from Nevada, Arizona, Hawii, and eastern Washington. Not leader as of now. I want to visit all the campuses, do some Junior days. But I haven't scheduled anything yet.
I've also been in contact with 3 star LB Halid Djibril and will try to post something on him tonight or tomorrow.
