I'm not surprised by this news at all. Another big kid from a small high school, who beats up on smaller kids throughout high school, gets DI scholly, steps on D1 campus, gets his pecker knocked in the dirt and quits. Seemed like a head case from day 1.
Boise State redshirt freshman Troy Bacon, the backup left tackle, quit the team this week.
Bacon has no plans to play football, he said.
“Nobody saw it coming,” Bacon said. “Just felt like I took the wrong path to my goals and ambitions in life. ... You can’t force yourself to be happy when you really aren’t. ... Just needed to go after what I wanted in my life.”
