Here's what I originally posted about the two-way ATH back in the end of March:
Spoke with 2018 ATH Matthew Tago today. The 2 star plays QB and LB but says Boise State is looking at him on the defensive side of the ball. Listed at 6'4" and 225lb, he looks like a good fit for the STUD position or possibly WLB. More of the same in terms of too early to have much info, but here's what he had to say anyway:
"I know Boise State has a great coaching staff and it's a great place. They offered me as a linebacker. I got invited to a lot of junior days but right now I might be going up to Colorado during spring. I have other offers from BYU, Washington State, SJSU and Colorado. Everyone stays in touch but Colorado is probably talking to me the most right now."
And here's a small update speaking with him this week after participating in one of the Boise State satellite camps:
"Camp was really good, I got to talk with a lot of the coaches. It was just the usual talk (we like the way you play, stuff like that).. I'll be at Colorado Saturday then Azusa pacific Sunday. Colorado is still recruiting me the most, but Boise State and Washington State are right behind them. All 3 are recruiting me as a LB."
