2015 LB Nela Otukolo will announce his commitment at 7pm this evening.
A bit over a week ago, he committed to UNLV, following his high school coach and wanting to bring excitement and a "New Era" to their football program, but this evening he told me that he "committed to UNLV for the wrong reasons".
He had an in-home visit with Coach Avalos a few days prior to his UNLV commitment and told me he had a Boise offer, but chose UNLV anyway. Since that time, Boise State has gained verbals from a few different Linebackers and while I cannot confirm if he still has an offer from Boise, it does seem like they were no longer pursuing Otukolo.
