I chatted with OL recruit Quazzel White this afternoon. He is a 3-star recruit out of WA, measuring 6'4" 304lb.
Currently, he holds offers from a number of Mountain West such as Utah State, Colorado State, SDSU and cites strong relationships with the coaching staff at each school as the primary reason for his interest. However, interest is picking up from other schools and the interest is mutual.
"I like the schools that have offered me, but right now I'm interested in UW, Boise State, and USC the most. The coaches at UW and BSU are close to pulling the trigger and USC I'm have some really good talks with, they were my favorite school growing up. If one of those three were to offer, they would go up to the top of my list."
He has played both tackle and guard for his high school team, but appears to project as a guard at the next level. He has the length and athleticism the Broncos look for in their lineman and with two tackle commits already, they could be looking at an interior lineman.
Boise State lost out on some lineman in recent weeks, most notably Alec Kuzmack. It would make sense that they would be evaluating the next round of OL on their recruiting board and some new offers should be going out soon. White could definitely be one of them and landing a player like him would solidify the OL position in this class.
