Bronco Football Players to be Feature Coaches at Summer Youth Camp
BOISE, Idaho - The 2015 Boise State Youth Football Camp is scheduled for June 8-10, and continues this year with current Bronco football players being the primary coaches for the camp.
In addition to 30 returning Boise State players, Head Coach Bryan Harsin and the entire Bronco coaching staff will be on hand throughout the camp. Each session features offense, defense and special teams skill development, plus daily Bronco Ball round robin games.
The non-contact camp runs 8 a.m.-Noon each day, and is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-13. Boise State will utilize The Blue at Albertsons Stadium, the Caven-Williams Sports Complex and the new DeChevrieux grass practice field on campus, and split campers into three age groups (6-7, 8-10 and 11-13).
The cost of the camp is $150, with participants receiving a Boise State football camp t-shirt, an exclusive Bronco camp football and other daily camp giveaways. The final day also features a campers-only autograph and photo session with Coach Harsin and Bronco coaches and players.
The Boise State football staff will also hold three other on-campus camps for high school players in June. A one-day Kickers/Specialists Camp will take place on June 12 at Albertsons Stadium. Boise State’s non-padded day-and-a-half Skills, Drills and 7-on-7/Big Man Challenge Elite Camp will be the evening of June 12 and all day June 13. Bronco coaches will round out the local camp series with a four-day high school Renegade/Team Camp, open to high school players 9th–12th grades.
