Here's a breakdown of how far each of the (currently projected) teams in the Big East will have to travel next season for each of their four CONFERENCE road trips (in driving mileage)

SAN DIEGO STATE (West Division) - 8,891 miles - Road trips to Connecticut, Houston, Louisville and Memphis

BOISE STATE (West Division) - 7,071 miles - Road trips to Cincinnati, San Diego St., S.M.U. and Temple

HOUSTON (West Division) - 6,069 miles - Road trips to Boise State, U.C.F., Rutgers and Temple

TEMPLE (West Division) - 5,264 miles - Road trips to Memphis, Rutgers, San Diego St., and S.M.U.

RUTGERS (East Division) - 4,411 miles - Road trips to Boise State, U.C.F., Connecticut and Louisville

CINCINNATI (East Division) - 4,185 miles - Road trips to Memphis, Rutgers, San Diego St., and U.S.F.

CONNECTICUT (East Division) - 3,936 miles - Road trips to U.C.F., Cincinnati, S.M.U. and Temple

CENTRAL FLORIDA (East Division) - 3,880 miles - Road trips to Cincinnati, Louisville, S.M.U. and Temple

LOUISVILLE (East Division) - 3,745 miles - Road trips to Boise State, Cincinnati, Connecticut and U.S.F.

MEMPHIS (West Division) - 3,650 miles - Road trips to Boise State, U.C.F., Rutgers and Temple

SOUTH FLORIDA (East Division) - 3,455 miles - Road trips to U.C.F., Connecticut, Houston and Rutgers

SOUTHERN METHODIST (West Division) - 3,155 miles - Road trips to Houston, Memphis, San Diego St., and U.S.F.

Boise State's NON-CONFERENCE road trips for 2013 are going to be fairly short trips. AT Washington in Seattle, WA. (505 miles) and AT B.Y.U. in Provo, UT. (381 miles) = 886 miles or a total of 7,957 miles for all six road trips next fall.

Seems like your road trips this year were not much different in distance, so not much has changed as far as travel.

Actually the distance for the four CONFERENCE road trips this season for Boise State was only 4,793 miles (including a trip to Honolulu, HI. - 2,923 miles) - compared to 7,071 miles for next season's four CONFERENCE road trips.

However, that being said, the total miles traveled this season for Boise State's regular season road games is a whopping 8,810 total miles (the two NON-Conference road trips were to East Lansing, MI., and Hattiesburg, MS., 1900 miles and 2,117 miles respectively). And the total distance for all six road trips next season for Boise State will be 7,957 miles. So it will actually be 853 miles LESS in travel miles next season.

I think that a lot of people don't realize that Boise State has been traveling like this for years. All those years thet they were dominating the WAC they were playing conference teams from Hawaii to Louisiana.
