Huntsville, Ala. – Rorianna Chartier and Sierra Land wrapped up play at the AVCA National Championships, Sunday, losing a consolation bracket match to Brooke Buchner and Maya-Lucia Gessner (California) 21-13, 21-17.
The Bronco pair went 1-2 in pool play on the first day of the three-day event to earn a spot in the championship bracket. The duo lost their first match of bracket play and was sent to the consolation bracket. The pair finished the weekend 1-5.
The rest of the Broncos traveled to Grand Canyon for the Lopes Invitational, where the team competed against Arizona State, Arizona and the host school in two separate single-day tournaments. The Broncos finished with a combined record of 18-24 over the course of the two days.
