Broncos Pull Away for 95-54 Win over Northwestern State

BOISE, Idaho – A 16-8 run from Boise State in the final 4:27 of the first half put the home team in control and heading to the lockerroom with a 15-point lead. Another four 3-pointers in the second half helped the Broncos to a 95-54 win over Northwestern State, Tuesday night at ExtraMile Arena.

The win is the 19th-consecutive home victory for Boise State which ties the program record.

Tyson Degenhart opened the second half scoring the Broncos’ first 11 points, extending the Broncos’ lead 54-35 at the 14:22 mark.

Boise State held Northwestern State to shooting only 31% from the field after shooting over 44% in the first half.

The Broncos went on a 15-3 run to end the game, courtesy of three Roddie Anderson III layups, with four Broncos scoring in the final five minutes.
