Rivals 3 star Quazzel White, one of the top offensive guards in the northwest, announced his verbal to Washington State this afternoon.
I spoke with him about why he chose Wazzu over offers such as Boise State and SDSU. Here is what he had to say:
"I really wanted to stay in Washington, that was a benefit for me personally. Also, I've built a really strong relationship with coach Mele and the rest of the staff. It's great knowing I will have a lot of close friends and family around me. I feel like it was the perfect fit all around. I'm excited to be a Cougar!"
White is another talented piece for Wazzu for their 2017 OL class, fitting as a strong interior piece that compliments two talented 4 star tackles. This line has the potential to form strong protection around incoming QB Connor Neville. White says he will be taking his official visit to Washington State on January 20th-22nd.
