Chris Peterson lost two games on Boise’s blue turf in his eight years as head coach. Bryan Harsin has also lost two games at home as BSU’s head man – his, however, were in a six day span.

Boise has been the most dominant team in the nation at home since the dawn of the 21st century, going 92 and 4 since 2000. Now with losing their last two consecutive home games – for the first time since 1989 – some are starting to wonder if the team once know for being “giant killers” might have been brought down to size.

From 2000 to 2005, Boise State went 63 and 13, winning five titles – in the Big West and WAC respectively – and they did it with style, finishing three of those seasons as the nations highest scoring team per game.
