Wouldn't it make sense if Boise to show case itself to the East Coast? It would help with the polls and plucking a few more kids out of Florida, Ohio and Texas can't hurt. Just wanted to see if the Boise fans kicked these ideas around with all this conference realignment?

Apparently you are laboring under the misconception that the "fans" here have a vote in this..........nothing could be further from the truth. We can do nothing but sit and wait and see what happens...........just like everyone else.

The ONLY one who ultimately has a say on this is Boise State's school president Robert Kustra (and to a lesser extent BSU's Athletic Director Mark Coyle).

cfb is, has and always will be a regional sport. There is no benefit to BSU moving to the Big East, other than money.

To answer the OP's post. Yes, the Boise State fans have thought a lot about the benefits of the East Coast exposure both in recruiting and in the polls as has Boise State. It is one of the driving factors in their decision to move to the Big East.

In, recruiting, Boise State has already started getting more East coast recruits (mostly from Florida) Chris Petersen even brought in secondary coach Jimmy Lake from the Jacksonville Jags to help in recruiting Florida.

As far as media exposure, the majority of poll voters are East of the Mississippi and in years past a lot of them were in bed by the time Boise state played out west. The exposure they will get in the Big East will help them a lot with exposure to those voters in the East.
